This place gets a good review largely because it is the Chick-fil-A closest to me, even though it's still like 40 minutes away! I've only been to the drive thru here and the line is ALWAYS long, it's like In-n-Out-level. But the service is always great and fast and the food is, of course, delicious and relatively affordable. My favorite thing on the menu is the spicy chicken sandwich. Get that deluxe and add some Chick-fil-A sauce to it!

This chick-fil-A gets 4 stars across the board: 1. Close to 680 2. Always pretty clean 3. Line moves quickly 4. Everything is fresh & hot The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is due to the hair that was in my sandwich during our last trip. Bummer. The manager over this location is awesome. Constantly cleaning, picking up trash, refilling drinks, opening doors for guests. He rocks! Still a fan of chick-fil-a.

This is one of the best, if not the best fast food chains in the country. Every restaurant I have stepped foot in has been very well maintained and as clean as you can ask for. Their staff is always personable, courtesy and treat you a did you were their most important customer of the day. I have been known to travel to try foods that bring back childhood memories and this is definitely one of those places. But this review is not about the franchises sprinkled across the U.S., it's about the "Chikin" as their famous Cow-scots tout. You would probably wonder how good can this boneless chicken breast sandwich be? Well I will tell you from first hand knowledge, it is probably the best one out there... Period. It's so simple it's mind boggling. They hand filet and bread each breast prior to sending it off to its bath of peanut oil inside the pressure cooker. This is what makes these sandwiches so damn good! Fresh baked buns with two pickles and a chicken breast and that's it. All she wrote and that's all that's needed. Choose between spicy or original filets or get the deluxe sandwich if you want cheese, tomato and lettuce. There are also numerous sauces available, from buffalo to ranch to Polynesian and Chick-Fil-A's own house sauce. Try it with a touch of mayo or honey and you won't be disappointed, I promise. I have converted many friends from spending money for various fried chicken sandwiches from restaurants charging 3 times as much for something far inferior to these foiled lined packets of love. This is the same chain that created and added 100% REAL chicken nuggets to their menu prior to the arches and the so called king. Don't forget to try the fresh squeezed lemonade, sweet tea and oh yeah... The shakes are insanely good as well. That's all from ringside for now my fellow Yelpers.. Enjoy! P.S. If it is your first time trying food from one of their restaurants, make sure and tell them and watch what they do for you. No, they aren't going to sing for you but you will for sure be hooked and will continue to go back in the future.

Hands down, best fast food restaurant ever. Not only are the staff wonderfully polite and friendly and accommodating, the chicken is GREAT. I wish there was one in Berkeley, I really, really do. Things I suggest trying: -4 piece chicken strips (like the strips better than the nuggets) -their chicken biscuit (breakfast menu only). Hopefully I'll get to try the minis soon. -Spicy chicken sandwich. Yum. -cookies and cream milkshake. perfection. And I don't usually like milkshakes. For real, ptL for chick-fil-a

Ok , we dont have this in Hawaii... When are you going to open a place here on Oahu???? When ever anyone in Hawaii I know mentions Chick-Fil-A, they love it. The reaction is OMG, I love that place. The food is so simple, clean, and with such great flavors. I give you guys big props for such a great product at a great price. I only get to enjoy this when I travel to the mainland but when I do.. its a must.

ALRIGHT! My update on this place: It's always a hit or miss with this place. Glad I only come here for their waffle fries but sadly, last night, they were lukewarm. But this update isn't about the food, its for a particular employee named Erin. I work in food service so I know how I'd like to be treated but this one, man, not sure what was going on with her but after seeing her reaction with the customers after me, now I'm not so forgiving about the way she treated me. So I come up to her, smiles and in good mood, and as soon as I say,"Hi, can I get....", I received an instant face of disgust, as if she heard something that she didn't want to. My walls of social anxiety instantly went up and I was immediately very uncomfortable. She didn't really look up at me after that, she looked down a majority of the time. I kind of panicked when she asked for the name for the order and I accidentally said her name and started laughing at my own embarrassment but Erin didn't think it was that funny. She rolled her eyes again as I tried to explain that I just got off work and was kind of out of it but she didn't care, down her eyes went and didn't come back up. I placed my friends order and mine and I asked if I could get ranch for my friends order and she rolled her eyes at me, grabbed the sauces and basically slammed them in the table indicator cup. The whole time, I asked myself, "what did I do?", but then I was watching her react to the customers after me, probably 5 customers (groups and singles) she helped after me and she still made the same faces and rolled her eyes. So it wasn't me at all, just her. I paid attention to the customers faces for reactions and they basically had the same reaction as I did. I will be taking this to corporate, someone like this should not be working here. If you have time to goof around, be super talkative to your co workers, then you have time to have at least SOME decency to be nice to the customers. The service is always a hit or miss but I doubt I'll be coming here anymore unless my co workers want to.

Pleasant surprise! I don't know why we waited so long to try Chick-fil-A. When we arrived it was a week day and lunch time. The drive thru line went clear around the building! The parking lot was packed. We managed to find a spot, grabbing one as someone was pulling out. I ran inside with the decision already made that if it was insane inside, we would just leave. There was a line, but it wasn't too bad, maybe 4 people ahead of me and every register was being manned. Quickly I was up in front and giving my order. About 2 minutes later I had my order and back to the car. My fiancé was in shock! I passed the food around, getting sandwiches and strips. Waffle fries and drinks. Everything was so good and so fresh. I want to go back and explore the menu some more.

This location is always busy but worth the wait! Located in the same parking lot as 24 Hour Fitness. May be hard to find parking and the drive thru line is always long. Came here for lunch and got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich w/ Sweet Tea. Don't forget to ask for the sauces! When you dine in they give you a plastic cup with a picture vs. a number to get your food. Service is very fast and food came fast. Before leaving, don't forget to refill your drink. The manager was very nice and helped me but did request that I stand on the Pick-Up side of the counter vs. the ordering area so that you don't block the area. Pick up food here after you work out at 24HR Fitness, you know you want to!

This Chik-Fil-A is a rare find in California. Moving from Colorado, finding a Chik-Fil-A is a priority! I don't need that many words to express the delicious chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. I'm a fan of the honey mustard, but all the sauces are delicious. It's Chik-fil-A. Good chicken, fast, and mighty delicious for a fast food place. Only thing is, could you not be closed on Sundays please?

I tried the grilled chicken for the first time. It was juicy and tender! Yummy! I will definitely try it again. The service as always was immpecable. Thank you!

Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite fast food restaurants, and this particular location is especially great. My friends and I actually travel from Berkeley all the way out to Walnut Creek about once a month, expressly to eat at this Chick-fil-A location. Every time we visit, the place is always pretty busy but the line moves quickly and we always receive our food in a timely manner. All of the people who work at this location are friendly, and I appreciate that they bring the food to you. The chicken sandwiches and waffle fries are always hot and fresh. My new favorite thing at Chick-fil-A has to be the milkshakes. The cookies and cream milkshake is the best shake I've ever had anywhere. I only wish that they had a location that was closer to Berkeley.

I live in Walnut Creek and work in Berkeley. I went to Chick-fil-a today to get food for people in the office. I went inside and gave the list to the cashier and he rang it up, then I placed an order for myself. First of all, it's chaos in there, there is no place to wait for togo food without being in people's way. I got my order, but the one for others didn't show up. I gave them the receipt and they gave me the order which of course was incorrect. I got to the office and there was a wrap and fries missing. So basically a full meal was paid for and NOT received. The food is great, that's why I come here. I know it's busy, but they really need to do better. I feel like I personally let my co-workers down by not coming back with the food they paid for. That is unacceptable!

  • Joseph B.

went back today, and they got my order wrong again. The cashier was nice enough but they just never get your order right. I even paid extra for items I didn't receive.

What the heck...these people are trying to feed me stickers! The tomatoes still had the bar scan sticker for me to eat. This location is a hit or miss on quality

It really is as good as it gets when it comes to fast food, fried chicken sandwiches! And fried chicken in general! I just love the chicken deluxe sandwich, waffles fries, chicken strips...everything! It never fails and when you go before 12 PM, it's super fast!

Whether you want to admit it or not, everyone has at least one fast-food fix. Yes you do, don't lie! I usually keep my reviews of fast-food joints to a minimum, but this is one of those places where I'll make an exception. Chick Fil-A had a few mall locations in the Bay Area in the 80s/early 90s, then all but disappeared out here until 2012 when new stores popped up. Their spicy chicken sandwich is always cooked just right, and then the pepper jack adds more zing to it. A bit on the salty side but always moist. Their waffle fries are a must, though they can keep the soggy coleslaw. On the lighter side, they also have a good chicken salad on wheat bread. Real lemonade too! Maybe the founder has his religious reasons for being closed Sundays, but also the place is so busy all the time that the employees end up needing the day off!

  • Liede-Marie H.

Got their new peach milkshake; wonderful; it has real pieces of peach in it; and also got chicken strips for the dogs (they love'em).

  • Auriyon J.

I love this place. The chicken is so tender and juicy! The staff are extremely nice and happy and the place was so clean! I wish they'd open one in Oakland or Berkeley!

    (5)
  • Blake R.

There seriously need to be more Chick-fail-a restaurants in the Bay Area, so it's not such a mission to get your fix on. The grilled chicken nuggets are awesome but aren't as good as the classic fried. I always get the chicken sandwich deluxe or the spicy deluxe with a lemonade. For me the best sauces are the Polynesian, honey mustard, and Bbq. The new lemonade frost is hella good and worth a try. The staff here is always super friendly and there is plenty of seating inside and out with a play area for all the kiddies.

    (5)
  • Chanel B.

I love this place very much and the last time that I came it was the worst I must say! I ordered the chicken strips and fries with a drink. The fries were like really hard like they weren't cooked all the way and the chicken strips were good but they had a very funny smell. Long story short I ended up getting sick hours later. Very disappointed because I love Chick fil- a.

    (2)
  • Alena W.

Hooray, I finally made it to Chick-fil-A! I seriously drove all the way from Livermore just for this! The chicken sandwich was delicious and the cole slaw was yummy. My only gripe is I wish the waffle fries were crisper. That being said, the customer service is phenomenal! So polite, friendly and helpful. This clearly rubs off on people. I saw a mayo packet on the floor and, to be honest, normally I'd walk past it, but I picked it up and threw it away. I can't wait to return when I'm in the area!

  • Stanley C.

Not a big fan of fast food but I heard about how good it was and had to go try it. I got the chicken deluxe sandwich. The chicken wasn't crispy as I expected it to be and when I lifted up the underside of the chicken, I saw that it was soggy and unappealing looking. The chicken however was juicy and overall the sandwich was OK. I couldn't really taste anything special to it other than it being fried chicken. I did however LOVE their sauces. Their chik fil a sauce was incredible. It was basically a mix of everything and of course was sweet. I drenched my sandwich with it because it was so good. Their honey BBQ was alright and their polynesian one was pretty unique. I thought it was going to be a nasty cafeteria soy sauce, but it was that plus a bunch of other stuff. Their ingreidents are clearly labeled on the packets and to my dismay, everything was packed with high fructose corn syrup... no wonder why it was so good. Their waffle fries were very crispy and delicious and complimented well with the sauces. Location is funny because it is opposite corner from a 24 hour fitness. I'm assuming they wanted to catch the people coming out of the gym to eat their famous chicken sandwiches. Saw a guy in workout clothing at the restaurant. It looks like they succeeded!

  • Ianto J.

The tastiness of the almost makes up for the fact that the food is filled with chemicals (Monosodium Glutamate).... almost. That said, the waffle fries are pretty good and the spicy chicken sandwich tastes great but always makes me feel like crap after I eat it....this is likely due to the MSG in the food. I heard that their menus were getting rid of hormones/chemicals but it was a 5-year plan?

Have you ever received your food at a fast food restaurant before you finish paying? Well I can tell you they certainly take the 'fast' in fast food to a whole other level. When it's a bit busier, the staff still seems to have a photographic memory of my face since after ordering and sitting down at a table to wait for my food, they can usually track me down even from a mile away to deliver my food to my table, and remembering exactly who ordered what. Wait, backing up, have you ever had fast food delivered to you at a lunch rush?? Now on to the food. This chicken sandwich stuff is simply crack. Crack with chicken juice, covered in their epic sauce. The pricing is also cheaper than other fast food chains. How is this all possible???

I didn't like supporting anti-gay supporters, but the chicken was good. It was moist and delicious. The service was good. I'll probably be back, but don't tell my gay friends.

I finally made it here. I haven't eaten here since I was a kid, so I can only measure this place against other like-kind restaurants! Over all this was a good stop - the restaurant is clean, my son loved the play area, and the food was good for a fast food restaurant. Their restrooms are clean as well. For less than $10 I had a Chick-FIL-A sandwich and my son got a four piece chicken nugget meal with a toy that he loved.

I was so excited to get a chicken sandwich my friend wouldn't stop talking about the chicken sandwich but then I got here and the workers were so Mean it is like they didn't care about me as a person or a friend or a customer I mean nothing. all I wanted was to try the chicken sandwich

I work with developmentally disabled adults and have come in several times with a group of those individuals. Every time, the staff has gone above and beyond with helping us get what we need. Very impressive customer service and, as always, delicious food.

Oh how I love this place! I can probably eat here all week long. The chicken is perfectly fried and juicy and the milk shakes never disappoint. I think they have theeee best milkshakes in the biz. Over all I have no complaints. Like another review, make sure to check your order when going the drive thru. I went to chick fila and ordered a lot of food and when we got back home about 30 minutes away, we had chicken sandwiches missing. I called chick fila and told about them about the error and the manager said she would add my name to the computer so I can come get replacement sandwiches anytime. Good for up to a year. I haven't been back out that way, but when I do I will definitely cash in on my sammiches :)

  • Rachel P.

I have tried a lot of chicken nuggets and fried potatoes. But I have never seen delicious chicken nuggets and fried potatoes more than Chick-fill-a. The nuggets are very fresh even if they use oil. Also, you can see the incredible shape fried potatoes as waffles form. The texture is very soft. If I recommend a drink something, I want to tell 'Frozen lemonade'. You must try!! In addition, I love their serving system. After ordering, we don't need to go to bring our meal. They bring our meal. It's very convenient.

A lot of people rave about chick-fil-a. but honestly, you don't want to have too many high expectations coming into this place. It's just like any ordinary fast food place. The only real difference is that the chicken is perfectly cooked, really tender, and not dry at all. My first two times going, I was not satisfied because my expectations were really high. I thought, "it's just chicken and a bun... Nothing special". So this time, with the mentality that it was just okay, I actually really enjoyed it. I just got #1. I wish I got #2 with the veggies inside, but the bun and chicken still tasted really good. Dip it with their cute ketchup bottle packets and hot sauce, yum! Their waffle fries are cool too. A size small is more than enough. The staff here are really nice too. Pretty good looking too, hahaha! And yes, you get free refills. My friend and I had this super loud conversation about whether or not we could. One of the workers happened to be eating and overheard us so he said we could definitely get a refill and apologized for eavesdropping, too funny!

I used to think this place was pronounced "chickafila" and I was introduced to this place when I went to southern California. While my friends were super excited when this place opened up North, I felt ambivalent. Sure, their food was decent for fast food, but I did not think too much of it. However, given their stances on various issues and how they walk their talk in a gracious and humble manner, I'm definitely impressed with how they've been working in the bay area. Now back to food/service/whatnots: Great service, clean areas. Chicken sandwiches = good. WAFFLE FRIES = YES!! But considering how the bay area offers so many different options for chicken, it's hard to compete. Pricewise, it's glorious.

Chx fillet is still new trend here in Bay Area. We enjoyed CHXFILA in Florida also... Parents - kids play area is safe and clean. Bathrooms are always stocked and clean. Changing table in mens RR. - kids play area is only accessible from (1) door inside.

The only reason that I gave Chick-fil-A four stars instead of 5 is because they aren't open on Sundays. I respected that the owner is religious and that's why they aren't open but I would love to have this delicious food on the weekend too!

    (4)
  • Lisa H.

We love coming here for breakfast! The breakfast sandwiches have the best biscuits! We also like the bite size hash browns and the chick-fil-a sauce. The staff that works here is super polite and helpful, and I was very impressed with their cleaning practices. I observed one young staff member cleaning tables, and he was careful to use one wipe per table in order to not cross contaminate, unlike other establishments. Great overall experience!

I love the chicken, just to make that part clear. I was there a couple of weeks ago, walked in to give my order. As I was standing in front of the counter, waiting for my food, an employee named Christabelle shot a piece of garbage past my head, trying to hit the trash can behind me. Working with the public sometimes takes a little maturity.

The staff are so nice and willing to help. The customer service is great. I love to come here. I ordered the chicken sandwich meal and the grill market salad. Both are guaranteed to not disappoint.

Best chain chicken sandwich you'll ever have! I recommend trying their chic-fil-a sauce and their Polynesian sauce! The staff are super friendly and service is really fast. What more can you ask for? (Other than that they be open on Sunday's!) lol.

Food: Food was okay. I've had better at different locations. The nuggets were soggy and cold. Service: When dealing with someone else's money, you should be more careful. I went through the drive thru and did not get my change back for my purchase. I gave $20.87 and my purchase was $11.87. I was in a rush to head back to work but once I got back, they had never given my change back. I went back after work to see if I could get my change back but they said they couldn't do anything for me. Can't they count the register and see that there's more money than there should be? At the least show concern, they just gave me a shrug and said they couldn't do anything. They said I should have called but how am I suppose to know that or how can I if I am working. They could have counted the earnings for the day and realize that it is more than they should have and let me know the next day. I would be more upset if my change was a lot more but this has happened to me at other places and they were able to do that and give my change back the next day. If you decide to use the drive thru, pay with exact change or card, you might not get your change back. Ruined my chick-fil-a experience.

I don't know if it was just an "off" day or if Virginia Chick-fil-a's are better but I was super excited to come here having recently moved to the Bay Area and found this location to be lacking. And I am a devout fan of Chick-fil-a! The food tasted off... even the waffle fries! How can you screw up waffle fries? The ingredients didn't seem that fresh and even the service was not up to usual Chick-fil-a standards. I didn't hear ONE employee say "My Pleasure" during our entire visit. :( We were pretty disappointed with the whole experience. I'm sure we'll get desperate enough to try it again.. and hopefully I can update this review to confirm it was just an off day.

Delish and super friendly. I think they use crack as part of their seasoning. They seriously leave you wanting more. We cannot eat chicken at other fast food joints now.

It was my first time eating at a Chick Fil A. Their grilled chicken sandwich with honey mustard BBQ sauce was off the hook. It was a little busy but not bad. I live in the SF Bay Area and too bad this is the only one closest to where I live(besides San Jose). I do wish they would be more widespread like other fast food chains. Will come back again if I have a chance :)

Had some time to stall in between meetings, so I can by to pick up a snack... Ordered the Chick n Strips meal. Wasn't too thrilled that my food was lukewarm. It didn't help that I was trying to multi task while I was trying to eat. The service was ok. I got to the restaurant as they were doing what looked to be a shift change. Since they are one of the few locations in the area and I don't eat here often, I'll cut them some slack.

We've always been huge fans and were ecstatic when it opened in Walnut Creek a couple years ago!!! We ate here on opening day. And we try to go as often as possible. I must say any chick-Fil-a I've ever visited have all had great customer service. A few months ago, our cashier was very rude and miserable. She slammed our sauces down, wouldn't smile, and didn't respond when I said thank you. I told her she was very unfriendly to be working there. An off duty manager was near and took notice of the situation. She apologized to us several times and gave us a gift card.

I drive all the way out from the other side of the hill to have a meal here. The thing that stands out most about Chick-fil-A beyond its cleanliness and its delicious food is its customer service. When you thank them, they reply: "My pleasure.", which in other circumstances I wouldn't really believe...but when Chick-fil-A employees say it, I really believe it! Spicy deluxe chicken sandwich with large waffle fries. Delicious. Their Arnold Palmer here, made with their sweet lemonade and iced tea. Amazing. Finish your meal off with the creamiest, most quality frozen yogurt cone out there, and boom: your day has been made.

  • Aria M.

Cookies n' cream milkshake and chicken sandwich were very good for fast food! Fast, friendly service through the drive-thru and waffle fries were perfectly crisped. Kids chicken tenders were a little greasy and not fried the way I like...but will definitely be coming back for the hand spun milkshakes and chicken sandwiches.

  • Dina M.

Don't go to the drive thru, every single time the order is wrong, I LOVE their spicy chicken breakfast burrito, but when you keep putting biscuits instead or don't give me my hash browns ALL THE TIME that's when you get one star.

  • Courtney Y.

First off I dislike most fast food and try to eat healthful most of the time. I went to Chick-fil-A when it first opened to see what the hype was about. The cars were wrapped around this place and I was surprised when the chicken sandwich that everyone raved about tasted bland and dried out. Since I'm in the middle of a home renovation sometimes unfortunately my time is limited to fast food. I was in the area and decided to give the place one more try. I ordered their deluxe chicken sandwich and I must say it was really good! The chicken was not dried out nor bland. Their buns are grilled in butter but I did need a packet of mayo since they do not put any sauces on their buns. I haven't tried anything else but I would eat another chicken sandwich from here. My only complaint about this place is I heard the president has made anti equal rights comments. My thoughts are everyone is entitled to their own beliefs but this is chicken/fast food... why not keep it simply at that!

    (4)
  • Matt W.

It's fast food that doesn't taste horrible. I guess that's why it gets so many people raving over it. For my money, I'd take McDonald's fries over their trendy cross cut ones any day. The chicken sandwich is solid but everything seems a little overpriced. I think I got something like a chicken sandwich, fried, chicken nuggets and it was around $12. The food is better than Jack n the Box but doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as In N' Out (oops).

My 1st time ever eating at a chick fil-a and I must say it was very delicious. More than what I had expected. The customer service was beyond excellent. Even though this place was extremely busy they still focus on quality food and customer service, the manager was even walking around checking up on customers which is a rarity for a fast food restaurant. I can truly say I was impressed. Will be back

  • Rachel M.

First time trying and I have to say it's one of the best fast food joints I've ever tried, I was really surprised at the quality and flavor of the food, it was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice and clean. The chicken is moist and juicy and the waffle fries are the best I've tried, I would definately recommend.

  • Jonathan N.

I was reluctant to try this chain as I am not a big fast food guy. I was pleasantly surprised with the food. The chicken is tender and juicy and even the fries tasted fresher than is often provided at a fast food restaurant. The service was friendly and quick. The restaurant itself was mostly clean and comfortable. It's nothing special but if you want a fast meal this is a much better choice than the usual choices.

Grabbed a chicken salad for lunch and found everyone- employees and patrons alike, to be friendly and polite. What a pleasant experience! And my salad was quite tasty too!

I honestly can't believe I'm leaving a 5 star review for a fast food restaurant. This franchise is probably the fanciest fast food restaurant I'll ever walk in to. I've never seen so many Caucasians working in a fast food restaurant before (sorry if that sounds racist, but I don't intend for it to be!). I definitely didn't expect to be "waited" on because they actually bring your food to your table if you're dining in. And I guess I should say...the food is amazing! But the McDonalds fries r still better :P

Oh chick-fil-a, please add more Bay Area locations, please. The chicken here is just so good. SOOOO GOOOOD. Usually when you go to a fast food restaurant and order chicken the chicken never tastes fresh, even if it is, the chicken always tastes like old ass oil that has been used to fry everything all day. Not so at chick-fil-a, the chicken tastes fresh af. FRESH AF. There also isn't anything weird in the chicken when you bite into it, no weird tendons or fat, just pure, clean white chicken breast. I've only had the spicy chicken sandwich, can't imagine ordering anything else off the menu. What I didn't like: the sides. I thought they'd have more southern sides and I am not a big fan of waffle cut fries. What I wish they'd do: offer the biscuit as a bread option all day long.

Love this place. I wish we had one out in Oakley/Brentwood, this place never disappoints. Breakfast burritos are addicting, sandwiches and waffle fries are bomb, and the service is always on point. Always a go-to when you want something different or consistent.

I love chic-fil-A ! So convenient for me, right next to my house and super tasty:) the staff is always wonderful! And I eat her all the time :) the food is fast and delicious!

My fist time eating here customer service is great and fast the food is healthier then other fast food places I love how they have the grill chiken nuggets on the kids menu and they also included a 3D Animal Discovery Apes and Monkey. Usually McDonald's only have stupid toys for kids..

Chick Fil A is the greatest fast food in the history of fast food. This particular Chick Fil A is always busy but they move very fast and in spite of the huge crowds of people, the staff is always friendly and efficient. Great work guys!

I went here this morning to get their breakfast. There wasn't a soul in sight. I decided on the multigrain bagel WITH EGG and fried chicken and cheese and it came with hash browns and a coffee for 6.89. Pretty high for fast food but they seem to be a little higher on quality than typical fast food places. I asked for one creamer and 2 sugars. I got no sugar. Awesome! Then I went home and to my surprise my sandwich had no egg on it but had an extra multigrain bagel on top of it!?!?! WTF!! How was this even served. Get your stuff together because for 7 bucks I could get a way better meal. They managed to screw up 2 items on a 3 item meal and they weren't busy at all. Very disappointing.

I still like the KFC chicken much better and the prices at Chick-fil-A are ridiculous! I will not return or recommend.

Went there for dinner. They served cold fries and cold nuggets. Nothing interesting. I was so hyped about having my food but only to be served cold cold and cold. Not coming back...

DELICOUS chicken sandwiches. Honestly, the chicken is juicy and it's not overly fried. Absolutely love it even though it's fast food. Also, they serve you and the employees are so nice and polite. Definitely a good change to the typical fast food experience.

This place is amazing. I will go out of my way to come to this franchise. I always get the waffle fries and chicken sandwich. Always consistent, always fresh, always delicious!

I've heard of Chick-fil-A before and couldn't help but get curious about it. Ah, fast food chain of chicken sammiches. I wasn't sure if I wanted the chicken sandwich that day so I ordered the 8-nugget meal instead. Small pieces of chicken and on the dry side, meh. I couldn't even eat them all and just threw them away. Actually, let me make that clear, Mcdonalds Mcnuggets are better, they're juicy at least. The tater fries, disappointed. It was tasteless and dry. More like dehydrated. Tasted and felt like sand in my mouth. Yeah, I tasted sand when I was a kid.

If you reviews their customer service, food (although its fast food) and cleanness of the dining area, you can't deny it! It deserves 5 stars! Inside you order your food and then you find your seat and get comfortable. You don't have to wait in the front or go up when they call your name BECAUSE they will bring the food to you! They refill your drinks! They are very friendly. When you say "Thank you" they say "my pleasure". Please tell me a restaurant who is serving you that well?! Maybe a 5 star $$$$ restaurant but that doesn't even ensure that the waiter/waitress are well trained. We come here because our child loves their indoor play ground and it is clean. The food is not too bad considering it is fast food and I rather come here than any other fast food restaurant or chain restaurants =P 5 star all the way!!

While visiting family in Walnut Creek, I heard a number of my friends rave about "the new Chick-Fil-A". I currently live in Southern California where Chick-Fil-A is just another food joint, so I was amused by their excitement. Anyway, I still had to give it a try. My buddy and I rolled in today (Boxing Day 2012) at 5:30 PM. The restaurant was packed! I guess the novelty of this place hasn't worn off yet. Fortunately, the service was first class. Within minutes, we were at the counter ordering our meals. Our food arrived literally three minutes after we ordered it. The staff even brought the trays to our table. During our meal, one of the staff members asked if she could "refresh our beverages". This location receives an A+ for customer service. I was not disappointed with the meal either. I ordered a chargrilled chicken sandwich, chargrilled chicken wrap, and a side salad. The chargrilled chicken wrap was fresh, lightly seasoned, and perfectly grilled. The chargrilled chicken wrap was tightly wrapped and paired with crisp veggies. The side salad was a pleasant surprise- it was fresh, topped with lots of veggies, and quite filling. My meal came out to $13.52, which I initially thought was a bit much for three items. However, I understand that grilled chicken usually costs more than beef and other meats. I'm also willing to pay a bit more for a fresher, healthier meal. The restaurant's interior was impeccably clean. The tables were spotless, the floors were free of debris, and the inside didn't smell like a typical fast food joint. There's plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant. I'll be back the next time I'm in Walnut Creek!

Someone just mentioned on the radio that Chick-fil-A is their favorite fast food place making me think about it all day. So I had to go for dinner (only a few miles down the road). As most of the reviews say it was the best experience in fast food in awhile. All the staff is taught to be friendly, they are professional and attractive :), and speak English - new concept around here. The spicy chicken was, the fries could have been cooked a little more, the coleslaw gets a high rating with me because I HATE carrots and there were either little to none - Thanks! As for the political haters, please don't come here, no one needs to be around your negativity and it is crowded enough, especially the drive through. Keep it up Chick-fil-A.

    (4)
  • Ina K.

Their drive through used to be super fast! This time took 20 minutes and last time there were twice more cars and took less than ten minutes.

  • Peter F.

Ok place, I give 3 three stars for the quality of food. The parking situation is not good. city planners didn't take into account that a large 24 hour fitness center should not be built right next to a fast food restaurant. you cant park over in the 24 hour fitness slots because you will take up their patrons parking, and there are very few chick-fil-a designated slots to park around this place. so you are screwed either way. The wait time is long, even if you go after 7pm through their drive through (weekends or weekdays). the drive thru situation is so tight that people who parked around the restaurant cant even get out. and I have seen a few drive thru patrons almost hit people going in and out of this place. The prices are a little higher than other fast foods places, but you get what you pay for, which is healthier food. and their waffle fries are still better than any crap I get from any other fast food restaurant.

    (3)
  • Don And Peggy E.

Clean location and friendly waiter service! The waffle fries are my favourite. The shakes are thick and creamy. The chicken sandwiches are excellent and there is a variety of condiments available for your sides. The play area is usually busy with older kids but clean.

    (5)
  • Kathryn L.

Personally, most fast food is a crime for obvious service & health reasons. However, why is the customer service here better than some fancy pants places I frequent? Surprisingly pleasant. This location is super clean inside with all condiments and utensils always fully stocked. My kids like the indoor play area. I like the the healthier kid meal choices - grilled chicken, milk, and fruit cups instead of sugary sodas and greasy fries. Their food is fresh, great quality, and taken to your table with a smile when you dine in. Faves: Spicy Chicken Sandwich, extra pickles please Chicken tenders, extra "Chick-Fil-A" sauce (they only keep that behind the counter) Splenda Lemonade Fresh Fruit Cups Since we're in the area all the time, we frequent.

It's opening day at Chick-fil-A, near the City By The Bay. Tastes so good I want to stay, Spicy Chicken Deluxe - hey! (Okay, I'll stop.) Chick-fil-A holds a special spot in my heart. It's the first place I met my wife-to-be in person, in Beaumont TX. We've eaten at the Fairfield restaurant several times, including a few days before August 1 2012. Believe you me, we were counting down the days until this location opened. So were a lot of people. The place was packed. People of all ages, colors, and yes, sexual preferences (more on that later) were here to enjoy some of the best fast food you can find. Still, we got our food only a few minutes after we ordered, which impressed me a lot. Play set inside for the little set, my girl's meal included a comic book with cheeky humor. The protesters were there, of course, displaying more hate than anything I've ever heard come from Dan Cathy. No problem; it's their First Amendment right, as it is Mr. Cathy's. The funny thing is, we were eating next to a lesbian couple. One of them glanced outside, rolled her eyes, and said to my wife, "Why don't they just let it go? Thing is, they're going to get hungry at some point!" So come on in, eet mor chikin, the food's more than fine. Worth far more than you'll pay for it.

Service is always outstanding and the food is always good. I love seeing the franchise owner working. Makes me feel like he really cares about his business. One day it was pouring rain and he was outside with umbrellas walking people in and out of the restaurant so they didn't get wet while he himself was drenched.

    (5)
  • Shaila S.

Always on point. Food isn't greasy and you're treated kindly and as though you're at a sit down restaurant

    (5)
  • Kris T.

Delicious. Courteous Service, especially by fast food standards. 9 (yes nine) different dipping sauces for your waffle fries. Not open on Sunday. Really, what else is there to say? Oh, the huge notoriety of this place in the WC. Which means, long drive through lines, with equally as long, but faster moving indoor lines. Otherwise, its pretty much the same kind of experience if you have ever been to the one in Fairfield.

I really like the spicy chicken deluxe. The chicken strips are good too. The fries are ok and I'm a huge potato lover. milkshakes are yumm!

I hadn't eaten at a CFA in a very long time: anti-gay statements by their leadership never sat well with me. Today, while in the Walnut Creek area with my 84-year old mother, I was very pleasantly surprised with their kindness. They were super-helpful: from holding the door for her (she uses a walker), to bringing the menu to our table so she could see it, to bringing the order and checking in on us! And the food was surprisingly decent for a fast food place. I won't give them 5 stars b/c it's still fast food, but the bulk of the thanks and the four stars goes to the staff for their kindness and quality of service!

  • Kai L.

Not as good as the one in Hollywood, but hey I'll take it ! Spicy chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese and a vanilla shake, yum. Well worth the drive even if you live closer to the SF side of the bay.

  • Chuckie C.

I've been meaning to write a review on this but keep forgetting. But better late than never! :) I never eaten at Chick-Fil-A (CFA) before, but at the urging of my friends, I gave it a shot. "It just a chicken sandwich", I thought. BOY, I was WRONG. Their food is awesome! My fav are the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich and the chicken nugget WITH the CFA sauce - you gotta try these. What closed the deal on making this my favorite fast food joint is the atmosphere - friendly workers (dine-in or or drive-thru) and clean restaurant. I know fast food joint sometimes get bad rap (crappy customer service, dirty restaurant, so-so food), but I am very happy with this CFA location. Tips: parking can get very busy and so is the drive-thru line. You can park on the next lot (still in the same property) where 24-Hours Fitness is and just walk to the restaurant. What are you waiting for?! Go get your chicken sandwich! Do it...DO IT NOW! :)

    (5)
  • R. B.

Overall great chicken, done well. Every now then they make the spice too spicy. It is hand blended on site. But I keep going back. Just wished they were open on Sundays.

    (5)
  • Jay P.

This is my favorite fast food place period! The chicken patties are savory and amazing and work perfectly with the chick fil a sauce. Their waffles fries are good but with the physical shape of them you are mainly sold air in the container. I wish they would give me more of them! But what really stands out to me is the customer service. At least at this location. The people who have helped me have always been friendly, speedy and accurate. Perhaps they get more money than minimum wage and Sundays off? Therefore, making it a more desirable fast food job which enables the management to hire people who want to do a great job!? If anyone works there is reading this. I really appreciate your great service!

    (5)
  • Real D.

Still stand by my original review of their play area rules, but their service has been very good every time I've gone. The food is still "what you see is what you get" but something about hearing "my pleasure" and genuine niceness makes the meal better

  • Lisa C.

LOVE Chick-fil-A. BEST milkshakes EVER!!! Trade in the kids meal toy for a free ice cream! If you have them hold any ingredients (tomatoes, pickles, lettuce) on your sandwich you get a little bit of credit on your sandwich. No condensation cups! If you've got a coupon for a free chick-fil-a sandwich you actually get to use that as a credit towards you meal, hello milkshake! No complaints, always clean, well stocked and courteous!!!!

  • Victor G.

Chick-fil-A has a menu that is decipherable after a few minutes perusal (not possible at burger king). check to see whether it's a meal pricing or entree pricing. menu: fries, chicken sammies, etc. eats: regular chicken sammie (3.39) -naked breaded chicken sammie with 2 pickles on soft bun. -ediblle moist, tasteless patty, added a little mayo. --not juicy enough, pattie neither thick or thin -upgrades on basic sammie would make sammie pricey 3.5 stars crumbs: -chicken sammie good not great -better than burger places -not as moist as "butter" chicken -may get waffle fries one day -associates courteous, efficient. -parking lot big not not many spaces.

I feel silly for sitting here writing a 5 star review for a fast food chain, but they deserve it! I ended up here today after going to the gym next door with my 3 year pld daughter and finding out that the kids club was closed for lunch. She was upset because she wanted to play, so we walked over here so she could play for a little while in their play area. While sitting here, I got a little hungry and decided to order some food. When it got delivered to my table (yes, they bring the food to you instead of calling out your number), I recieved the wrong sandwich. The guy who brought me my tray took the sandwich and the reciept back with him to the counter. Another worker approched me and asked for my card so she could refund me, because apparently they charged me for a meal that was more expensive. I honestly would have never noticed I got charged more until they pointed it out. She refunded me, and while I waited for my new sandwich at my table, I was brought a refill on my drink and a new set of fries, since I ate them all while waiting. There was always a employee walking around the resturant asking if the customers at each table needed anything. I also really like how they allow you to choose healthier food opposed to other fast food chains. Instead of fries you can get some fresh fruit. And it's not the gross pre-made fruit salad mixtures. It's fresh. I really feel like they went above and beyond with their customer service. I have never even recieved this good of service at an expensive restaurant!! And this is a fast food chain!!! The people that work here are friendly, honest, and great at their job. And the food was surprisingly delicious! I never thought I would come in here to eat, but I am glad I did.

Great food, great service. What more can you ask for. This is not your typical fast food experience. The workers are friendly, provide good service and the food is delicious. Salads and chicken strips are my favorites but everything I have tried has been great. THey have people that will fill up your drink and even dump your tray for you. THis is also a great place to take children. The restaurant was also extremely clean much different than any other fast food experience.

Got the original chicken sandwich, side of waffle fries and some nuggets. The original chicken sandwich was moist, flavorful and didn't require any sauce but it doesn't hurt. It only comes with chicken and pickles on a bun and to be honest it works. I don't even like pickles and I liked them on this sandwich. I guess if you have a good product you can put anything with it and make it bearable (pickles in this case). The waffle fries were just normal fries in waffle form and were perfectly salted so it didn't need any more. The chicken nuggets were also flavorful bites but they pretty much are the same chicken you get on the sandwich. I didn't even get dipping sauce with them. So minus points for no dipping sauce and for it being the same chicken as the sandwich. No imagination in the nuggets. So I will come back and just get the original or deluxe chicken sandwich with fries or a different side and you are good to go. It's surprisingly clean inside this place. Not your average fast food restaurant that is for sure.

    (4)
  • Sam G.

This place is under rated! Wish I came to this place more often....first off its fast food but tastes like a mom and pop store who cares about their product. The people here are charming and even bring your food to you, and treat you as a person asking for your name on the order rather than just some face and a # who ordered a chicken sandwich. It's prices might be a little high for the amount of food you get but it's definately worth it. And subtracting the price by opting out of stuff you don't want like lettuce or tomoatoes on your sandwich is awesome. I think Chic Fil A gets a bad rap for it's opinion on gay rights, but last time I checked McDonalds and other fast food giants are pretty shady in their business and their food is sub par. Forget the haters and critics and give it a try. My new fast food joint!

5 stars for the chicken but 6 stars for Kathryn. If you dont know Kathryn she usually works the opening shifts. My coworker and I come to chick fil a every other Saturday morning right before work for breakfast. We are NEVER disappointed with the level of service. Being in the food industry for more than 20 years I have seen my fair share of bad employees. Her warm smaile and determination to make sure we leave in a timely fashion sets her apart from the rest. Today 10/4/14 we can in with about 5minites to order and leave. Kathryn met us with a great smile and was already on the register. While my coworker was looking up at the menu. Kathryn said "That will be $17.60" My coworker said but...and before she could finish Kathryn said " I know your order by heart". We laughed and waited patiently. Kathryn then remembered I just got married 9/14 and asked how the wedding was etc. This is something you cannot train. You can only lead by example. Her ability to go above and beyond with the simple things shows how genuine she is. This Makes this Chick fil a location the best one. I never have a bad time coming here, But Kathryn ensures I will always be a customer. Note to management: Kathryn should be a trainer if she isnt already and she should receive corporate wide recognition for her amazing customer service skills and ability. Not to recognize her amazing effect on a customer is a mark against a pretty good company.

Their chicken sandwiches are excellent. I had them prior to the brouhaha over the CEO's stance on gay marriage. The company's views on same sex marriage and their contributions to anti marriage equality groups are shameful. Companies should stay out of politics. Food: 4 stars. Politics: 0 stars (or 1 according to Yelp).

Customer service is Omg..The Best! - greeted as soon as we walked in. - Tables cleaned as soon as customers leave. - All the workers are happy and cheerful. - great positive energy in here. - People kept coming in, very busy. - Drive thru had many cars. - Parking lot full. - clean play area for the little ones in the back. Eats: Spicy chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and waffle fries. chicken sandwich is plain...you add your own condiments. Chicken sandwich was delicious..not the best. Chicken nuggets were tasty. Waffle fries were okay...lacked flavor. What makes the food great are the different dipping sauces you get. I loved this place!

My husband and I went on June 4, 2014 my husband would always go there and I would always say no due to the fact that our child has nut allergies and I didn't want to make him sick by kissing him. But this one time I wanted to try this place and I'm glad I did the Service was very good and my sandwich was good especially with all their sauces I gave my sandwich a score of 8.5 from a possible 1 on the low and 10 being the highest score. I've been to several restaurants where the chicken sandwiches were too dry or really Flavorless. Chick-fil-A was very good and the restroom was very clean that's important to see most restrooms are very Dirty. In my opinion that says a lot about the restaurant in a whole if they keep their bathrooms dirty how much do they care about their Food?? I mean really? I really wish they at least had a restaurant in Mt. View, CA on this side of the Bridge. It's far enough from San Francisco, CA

A phrase that I thought that I would never utter: "Dee-licious fast food!" Wha?? Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I broke down late one evening, and had myself some fast food! My excuse? It was 9 p.m. and I was tired after a long day, there was nothing in the fridge, AND I had coupons for free sandos. I grabbed a friend, and off we went to explore this Texas-based chain to see if it lived up to the buzz. On my visit that evening, it did! The Classic Chicken Sandwich was juicy and the bun was buttered and fresh. The Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich, which is the "healthy" version of the classic was moist as well, and the bun was perfect. Get the Waffle Potato Fries! We were literally fighting over the sole bag of these crispy taters, making me wish that I'd ordered a second bag. The interior was clean, the employees were friendly, and the condiments were plentiful. (Such cute ketchup packages!) I think it's funny that they built a fast food chain next to a fitness chain. It reminds you that you need to keep those buns in shape if you want to eat crispy chicken buns!

Five star review for a fast food restaurant? Yes, it's happening. When I yelp, I always try to yelp restaurants and stores relative to other restaurants and stores of a similar type. So, yes, the Walnut Creek Chick-fil-A is a five star fast food restaurant. This location is located in Walnut Creek. There is a dedicated parking lot. Your options include eating in (both inside and outside tables!) and ordering food through the drive-thru. The staff is extremely friendly, patient, and helpful. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich deluxe, the waffle fries, and a fountain drink. The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious - the chicken was moist and the pickles and pepper jack cheese gave it a little extra flavor and kick. Loved the waffle fries - not really greasy and still slightly crispy. After I paid for my order, I awkwardly waited at the counter for my order like I would do at any other fast food restaurant. The cashier quickly noticed and told me that my order would be brought directly to wherever I was sitting. Shocked and surprised, I took my seat and lo and behold, a server brought out my food in no time at all and was able to find me without a problem. What service! Then, while I was sitting and eating, two different staff members stopped by to check on me and see if I needed anything - they even refilled my drink! When I was finished with my food, the staff promptly cleared my tray. Will definitely be back - may now be addicted!

Best fast food restaurant and customer service in Contra Costa County! Tall, blond kid at cash register couldn't be more polite if he tried. He knew his products and offered suggestions, provided a smile and offered to provide a refill twice. The food was walked out to our table by the staff...I had met the person bringing the food halfway (when my name was called) but they insisted to take it to the table. I pulled the manager aside and said that i loved their customer service, however I was disappointed w/ the parking situation. I pointed out how, on a Sunday afternoon the restaurant was not very busy yet the parking lot was full. She told me that the gym rats (not her words) from the new 24 hour Fitness tend to poach Chick-fil-A's parking. She also said that throughout the day she and others on her staff go outside and redirect the non-restaurant traffic to other lots. She immediately dropped everything and went outside to do just that! Incredible....talk about taking the customer's feedback and exceeding the customer's expectations....on the spot! You just don't see that level of service these days. Keep up the great work, Chick-fil-A!!!!

Yummy yummy yummy!!! Staff is extremely friendly for a fast food chain (sorta reminds me of In & Out in customer service). And of course the food... MUY BUENO. The chicken patties actually taste like real chicken. It's tender and moist. IMO, much better than KFC chicken sandwiches. My next objective at this establishment is to get there early enough to try their biscuit. I now understand why there is always a line at Chick-fil-A.

Why did the Chicken cross the road? It was to get some "crosscut fries!" Chick-fil-A the christian chicken empire has tip-toed into our hearts. The corporate chain is an American same-sex marriage, conservative political activism, which has it's chains always closed for business on Sunday. The Spicy chicken sand-which is good, not great.. the thing that steals the stole is the waffle fries, if you have it with the special sauce, they provide over the counter your in for a treat. As mention in other restaurants they could probably be more successful if they had vegetarian or at least vegan options on the menu. One thing I found strange.... "Why do they have two types of straws?"

    (3)
  • Jessica M.

Not like I remember it. The chicken sandwich was bland, the fries were barely cooked. and this system where the employees wonder around the restaurant yelling their customer's name when their order is ready is a bad business practice. If I did not have taste buds I would go back. COOK THE FRIES!!!!!!!! Just because the restaurant is crowded doesn't mean it is ok to serve raw fries!

Well, it's not in a mall, but I do REALLY enjoy their food. The waffle fries are awesome, and I really like the spicy chicken with cheese. Their bread? Delicious! Try the lemonade too. Sorry, colonel, I like Chick-fil-A!

Love the service and probably one of the best fast food places you can eat. They have a lot of options but I usually go with a spicey chicken sandwich meal, and some nuggets on the side. Really moist and cooked well and impressive for a fast option.

Went to visit my bro over the bridge....boy is it a different land over there. I love chick fil a....their chicken sandwich and criss cross fries were amazing. Chicken is lightly fried, crunchy outside juicy on the inside. Bun was light and fluffy. Lettuce and tomato were fresh. Fries are crispy and lightly seasoned. I have only eaten there one other time and Hartsfield-Jackson airport...and it was really really good. I highly recommend this place for darn good fast food.

Several months ago the Chick-fil-A founder Truett Cathy exercised his First Amendment Rights to make some inflammatory remarks regarding Marriage Equity. Predictably, the Progressive Community rose up in outrage and at least in Chicago and Boston politically overplayed their hand. I'm not a big boycott guy, even when I agree with the cause. So when I found out that a Chick-fil-A outpost would be opening in Walnut Creek, I knew it would only be a matter of time before I got my chance to indulge in their poultry-rich goodness. I'm also sure that many fellow Liberals in WC are quietly welcoming Chick-fil-A to the Community anyway, and well appreciate the increased sales tax revenues. I know that because there have been sightings of at least a few of them in line for their Chikin' :) There's no discrimination at this Chick-fil-A Outpost, just extremely helpful and friendly folks. Only In-N-Out compares in terms of making this customer feel like a Fast Food King. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was in fact better than fast food, with the fresh waffle fries thrown in as a bonus. I'll be back and also for breakfast.

Went to this restaurant with a $10 gift card. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich meal with fries and soda. The sandwich came without sauce but gave us mayo ketchup packet, blah. sandwich was barely warm and very little flavor. I have had better chicken sandwiches in a cafeteria. On the way out I threw the balance of my gift card in the trash cause I knew I would never come here again.

I'm pretty sure I'd get in biggg trouble for this since I'm an ex-vegan who works in the wonderful world of fitness and nutrition, but the boy took me here last night since I've never been. I stood there for 10 minutes trying to decide what to get then finally asked about the level of spiciness of the chicken sandwich. I ended up settling for the original chicken sandwich with none of the fixings, but it still came with pickles (and I LOVE pickles.) He ended up asking for their Chick-fil-a sauce for me. We took it home to eat since I was tired. I regret nothing. That burger/sandwich was SO good. The chicken was fried and crispy on the exterior yet still juicy and tender inside. And it stayed that way til we got home too! I cant wait to drag him out here again!

I know what you're thinking.. why are you reviewing a fast food chain store? Not to mention, one that opposes same-sex marriage. I know, it's not very political of me, but Chick-fil-A is a rarity in Northern CA. I simply love their chicken strips, waffle fries, and most of all their chick-fil-a sauce! I can dip anything in that thing! I also find it amusing that they say, "my pleasure" whenever you say "thanks". Don't believe me? Try it!

While most fast food is atrocious, Chick-fil-A is a star in the zenith. How can their food be so good while McDonald's (no chicken in their protein-paste Chicken McNuggets) is so awful? The sandwiches are so well done that they're addicting. Quality is one reason. The food is good for you in addition to being absolutely delicious -- and is good to you as well. Attitude is another reason. This is a small restaurant that dares to be great and succeeds beyond all expectations. The exceptional customer service is unlike anything you'd ever encounter in most other fast food chains -- in fact, superior to anything I've encountered in big, pricey restaurants. The facilities are bright, very clean, and avoid the run-down look typical of most fast food chain stores. I wish them all the success in their venture! It's great food for kids. I heartily recommend this restaurant (and the restaurant chain) without hestitation.

Coming from the South, I forgot how much I loved Chick-fil-a. I grew up on it and hell, there was even one on campus at my college! If you're not familiar with this chain, the chicken here is unlike anything you've ever had before. The breading is light, but crunchy and flavorful; and the chicken is REAL chicken cooked tenderly so that it's still juicy by the time it gets to you...not that fake, dry stuff from other fast food joints. The other thing that is actually REAL here is the sweet tea! Not just tea that tastes sweet...this is sweetness you can FEEL. Something else you can feel is the fact that the nuggets and strips are exactly like the chicken used in the sandwiches! Sounds like a no-brainer, but trust me, it's a HUGE difference. Now that KFC is long gone, I hope that Chick-fil-a keeps their whole line of choices (KFC didn't have spicy chicken because people around here didn't like it...so weird). Aside from the crazy long lines during peak hours, the service has been consistently cheerful and fast. It would be nice if this keeps up because that's another differentiator. Southern hospitality, baby! On a political note - yes, I grew up in the South, but no, I do not agree with the owner's conservative view point. I'm just chalking it up to the fact that he's an old fogey of the "good 'ole boy" era. Props to the protesters on opening day. As much as I wanted to stop by, I honked in support of LGBT rights and drove right on by :)

I live in Los Angeles but this was my first time trying Chick-fil-A in a most unlikely place - the Bay Area. After hearing rumors about how good this place was, it was an obligatory stop even though it was storming outside and I got super soaked between my car and the warm inside... An hour later after I got my Chick-fil-A cherry popped I can honestly say I'll be back for more. The delicious signature sandwich and waffle fries coupled with the extremely friendly service sold me on this being a great fast food option. Plus they have the most hilarious cartoon artwork on the walls depicting cows trying to make people eat more chix. Definitely stop in if you have never tried C-f-A or if you're tired of eating cow burgers.

Um my god, where the heak has this chick been all my life! I finally after years of hearing how great they are, was able to break my chick fi let cherry and damn was it worth it : ) It was a celebration day at work for being my last day there and venturing off on to new exciting things so, I thought what not a better way to celebrate it by doing it Fil -A style. We catered to a party of about 16. Since it was my day of celebration and my choice of where to have the food catered from, I was fortunate to have been able to choose what to get : ) I went online and viewed there menu. They have a large selection of different platters to choose from, serving any where from 10 to 45 people each. They label it either S M L and the amount of people each tray serves next to it. We chose a Medium platter of Chicken Strips, a medium platter of Chicken Nuggets, one medium tray of a Cool Wrap and Chicken Salad Sandwich tray and a small tray of there fruit salad. We went to pick it up and of course being only a week after it opened, was still quite packed. We were able to steer clear of the long line and go to the front to pick up our large catered order that was all ready : ) ( ALSO A LITTLE TIP, they usually prefer you to put in your catered order a week in advance!!! We just lucked out this day) It smelled amazing in there so I was anxious to get back and try! Holly hot damn!!! Was everything lip smacken, wanna smack someone good!!! I am for starters, not big on fried chicken and maybe have it twice a year, but these suckers were yumazing!!!! The sandwiches tasted super fresh, quality and flavored well yum!! The fruit salad was extremely fresh too and not lacking in the least! Oh and the service by all means was top notch! Sincere, genuine and down to earth!! Another first time that will always be quite memorable : ) However, I am not leaving this one...nope me and chick-fi- let will be spending alot more time together!

Not a single veget@rian or veg@n option on their lunch menu, unless you count fries or a side salad. I get it, you're a chicken restaurant... obviously you don't care about being veg-friendly. Edit: I would not go to this place even if they did offer a meatless option, because of their shady policies. Do some research before you decide to give your money to this company.

I'm 9 months pregnant and went to chick-fil-a for lunch and the line was so long. The manager spotted me standing in line and offered to take my order so I could sit down and not have to wait. She personally brought me my food within a few minutes. The courtesy didn't stop there Colin checked on me and those around me and offered to get anything we needed or refills. When I finished another employee cleared my tray and someone else opened the door for me. I haven't had such genuine and kind service like this in a long time. Thank you Chick-fil-a you made my day.

I'm craving just an original chicken sandwich and some waffles fries with Polynesian sauce. It's my favorite. This location is super clean inside. Excellent customer service. Nice play area for the kiddos. So sad I'm 30 minutes away.

Are you kidding me? You can't call this place fast food, it's just too damn good! Why the heck don't we have more of these in the Bay Area? I would give away every single In n Out location around for just one more chick-fil-a closer to where I live. Well this place has some of the best chicken around for a so called fast food place. I'm so glad this Walnut Creek location is open and I'm waiting in line to get my free food for a year. Yes I'm single ladies so let's do lunch.

I ordered a chicken sandwhich and it was horrible, dry, and no condiments added for some reason? What a waste of money. I doubt this place will stay open much longer. If you drive by you won't hardly see any cars in line. That should tell you something right there .

I always forget how good their chicken sandwiches are.. they're frick'n delicious. Try to get here during odd hours because I'm convinced their parking lot and drive thru is a death trap waiting to happen.

I'm happy to welcome Chick-Fil-A to Walnut Creek! I visited on a Saturday, less than a week after the opening, and it was an absolute MADHOUSE. The line for the drive-thru spilled out onto North Main, and the line to get inside spilled out the doors. Visually it was mayhem. But I must give a huge amount of credit to all the employees - they were EXTREMELY gracious and calm under pressure, and did absolutely nothing to make us feel rushed. They all had their game faces on and were ready to serve their 10 trillion customers! We opted out of the drive-thru line and went inside, to join a line that looped around the entire restaurant, at least 50 people ahead of us and all 5 cash registers open and processing at top speed. Employees handed out freebie coupons, and actually thanked us for waiting in line while handing us a piece of a fresh warm DELICIOUS chocolate chip cookie. Which I was very grateful for, because the wonderful smells of the food were torture to our growling tummies! I got the chicken deluxe, BF got the spicy chicken deluxe, and we shared waffle fries and an order of chicken nuggets. I got a touch picky and asked for no pickles, fully expecting that request to be ignored because of the mayhem. But not only did we find a table quickly and get our food quickly, it was totally accurate! Wow! I can go through a drive-thru of near any other fast food place and be the only one in line and ask for NOTHING special and they'll still get it wrong! Customer service at this place is phenomenal. And as others have already said, the food is delicious. The chicken is REAL! Delicious juicy chicken breast, fried perfectly with great seasoning - this is like no fast food I've ever had before, and you get plenty for the money. And possibly my favorite part - they have Diet Dr. Pepper on tap! EEEEP! My only gripe is that sodas and sandwiches are served in Styrofoam cups and boxes. Yes, it has a certain nostalgic charm - but a now national and very successful chain should be able to do better than this and make a more environmentally responsible choice. Here's hoping. Thanks Chick-Fil-A, we'll be back! I hope those incredibly long lines will die down (and it's nice to see people embrace a new restaurant with delicious food without letting the opinion of one dumdum get in their way - I hope it isn't simply the way of the sheeple), but with eats this delicious, those lines may be here to stay!

The food is always delicious here and today I experienced the best customer service ever; for a fast food chain. I came in and was greeted with a warm cute smile from the cashier Elisa. Elisa was very perky and just overall gave an excellent positive vibe which should make anyone feel welcome. Props to Elisa for her excellent customer service!

The only thing that really excites me about new fast food opening is the prospect of value menus. I'm so tired of really expensive lunches and I feel like I eat a lot of them. The afternoons when I stroll to Jack for 2 tacos for $1 really complete me. So the new Habit that just appeared on Geary at Main doesn't excite me much cuz I think they're kind of expensive for just a typical burgers. My curiousity about this Chick place was high as I watched all the tent dwellers line up a day ago in the parking lot. I think maybe once I saw one of these in a mall around Fairfield back in 2002-ish. I remember waiting inside the restaurant at a table, but I didn't eat there. I was actually stalking someone, which is why I remember the date so vividly. *only half kidding* So today for lunch, chicken it is! Their promotion made my chicken sandwich free (regularly $3.39) and a small shake (which wasn't all that small) was $3.25. But I think Wendy's shakes are better and they have them on their value menu... so, there's that.

This is the first time I've ever been to a Chick-fil-A and I'm so happy I finally got to have this experience. I have to say I was thinking at first that's it's probably going to be just another fast food chicken sandwich. I couldn't of been further from the truth. When we first got there the drive thru line wrapped around the restaurant and even backed up onto the main street. We found a place to park and immediately grabbed it. Now we had to wait in another line. There were employees giving out cookies and the line moved very quickly. We were quite shocked. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich and we got an order of the chicken tenders. The sandwich was amazing. I have never had a chicken sandwich that good at ANY fast food places ever. The sandwich and the strips were hot and delicious. The service was also great. Everyone was friendly, even dealing with so many people and anything you asked they obliged with. Very beyond happy with my first experience at a Chic-fil-A

Wow, after a couple of visits to the "new local" version of one of my favorite places to eat, I have to say that I'm impressed. Usually there are some speedbumps with a new restaurant, especially one that attempts to bring the "South" to California, but this location is firing on all cylinders. Great, perfectly cooked tender chicken and friendly service... Score! My only compaint, if you can call it that, is they don't quite understand what I mean by "well done" fries... I really do mean WELL done!! Overall, a great opening. This location will see my ugly mug ALOT!

I don't eat much "fast food", but when I do, I usually come here. The workers are always friendly, the restaurant clean, the food is fresh and consistent. My 6 year old niece loves the play area, and we typically have a hard time getting her to leave it. Great place to take kids to burn off some energy after they eat and parents and friends can then talk while the kids play. The chicken sandwich is my go to, and they have a grilled option for those who are interested.

"Can I have a lifetime supply of your diet lemonade, please?" "My pleasure, ma'am." I miss living in the South and Midwest where there was a Chick-fil-A on every corner. The WASPs abound here and the service is always with a smile. Eventhough I don't eat chicken anymore, it is still completely worth it to make a stop here. Their lemonade is so good. Their waffle fries are so good we ordered one for each of us. I even tried the waffle fries with the special Chick-fil-A sauce. It had an unnatural creamy texture and loaded with HFCS and it was delicious. Pregnancy will do crazy things to your diet. I could see myself living off of waffle fries and diet lemonade for the rest of my life, so it is probably best this location is 20 miles away from me.

Finally, the chicken sandwiches have come home to roost. My first taste was in Florida while on vacation. I had not even heard of this chain. I found it to be simple, clean, and busy! More than anything, it was a bit of a refreshing change from the deep fried frozen chicken sandwich. Pickles and chicken work. Special sauce works. I liked it. Now we have one closer than Fairfield. I found it to be consistent with my first experience. My only change was to go with the grilled chicken. This also had good flavor and freshness. There's no doubt I will be checking in again.

Found the food to taste like regurgitated chicken by product. It tastes as if they deep fry and season their so-called chicken in ignorance and prejudice. You leave there feeling like you've been lied too. Have fun with this place. Enough said.

FINALLY!!! Everytime I passed by a Chik-Fil-A, i couldnt get it (in So-Cal or in ATL) lol. but Finally one in WC!!! Right where i Work!!! I was sooooooooo excited!!!!!!!! I got both the original and spicy chicken sandwiches. It's pretty good!! Very very very meaty. lol. I loveeee the variety of sauces!! I like the Polynesian sauce!! I also like the waffle fries, I just hope it was crisper... This place is always super busy! but what do you expect? lol. The service here is good. People are very friendly, maybe a little bit toooo friendly. lol. Only thing is that its pricey for fast food. A meal comes out to be able 7 dollars. A little steep for it being fast food. I will probably be back randomly! Yay for a Chick Fil A in the Bay woot woot!!! (like my rhymes?) =]

Probably one of best chicken sandwiches I've had. Being that my experience with chicken sandwiches is limited to diners and fast food chains,I guess that isn't saying a whole lot. Still, the two sandwiches I've tried were both meaty and juicy. I've tried the spicy deluxe and the Chick-fil-a deluxe. Their waffle fries are pretty awesome too. The best part for me, however, was the array of sauces available. My personal favorite sauce is the chick-fil-a sauce. Service is pretty darn good, especially for fast food. The price, in my opinion, seems reasonable given the chicken doesn't seem processed at all and that the quality of the establishment, as a whole, seems a bit higher than any other chain.

I love Chick Fil A. This location is right next to work so you can find me here often. My favorite is the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Chicken is so crispy and fresh. Your milk shake is also delicious, although I must rush home immediately since I am lactose intolerant. Minus one star for your hatred of gay people.

I don't eat the lunch much, but the breakfast is the best (fast) food around. The biscuits are divine. I am a biscuit connoisseur. The #4 breakfast is terrific. The workers are all super friendly and fast. The inside is immaculate. The bad reviews were either expecting too much or they are dealing with other severe personal problems.

The food was decent but the customer service was horrible, the guy at the drive thru window was very rude, slammed down the ranch I asked for into my hands and gave me attitude. I live in the South Bay and all the chik fil a stores have always given me a positive experience but this one up here has always been bad. As much as I love those spicy chicken sandwiches I think I'll pass when I'm up here visiting my boyfriend.

This exact location gets no stars for service. The only reason they are getting 1 star is that the food was excellent. Eating here vs the Fairfield location is like night and day. At the Fairfield location EVERYONE was treated great and equally. At the Fairfield location they also asked what kind of sauce we wanted with our chicken strips and nuggets. At the Walnut Creek location we were not asked what kind of sauce we wanted. We had to get up from our table and get it ourselves after we had opened up the chicken nuggets and strips to see no sauce was included. At Fairfield, everyone's orders were delivered to their tables. At Walnut Creek, it was delivered to your table if your group was Caucasian. Our party was mostly Filipino. At Fairfield, there were 2 people taking care of the lobby and checking in with EVERY customer. They were very attentive and took care of everything including extra napkins, drink refills, and asking if we wanted more condiments including sauce for our nuggets and strips. At Walnut Creek we saw someone taking care of the lobby. We saw this person take care of each table of Caucasian customers at least twice. He passed by our table at least 7 times and never said a single word to us. He also never made eye contact. As a result of being ignored for not being the right skin tone, everything that the Fairfield location took care of for us was NOT taken care of by the Walnut Creek location - napkins, drink refills, checking how we are doing, and sauce for the chicken strips and nuggets. When we were almost done with our meal, one of the Filipino members of our party wanted a refill for her drink. She went to the front counter since we had been ignored the whole time we were there. Not only was she ignored, a new Caucasian customer came up and was helped first. A member of our party who is half White had to flag down a White staff member to get the refill. After receiving the refill, the Filipino member of our party said "thank you" to the White staff member. He ignored her. After that, she said "You're welcome? Have a nice day?" The White staff member then said "ok." It's pretty obvious what's going at this location. It just like the Nazi mentality. Good old fashioned racism. At this location, if you're not white, you don't get the great customer service that other locations provide to all customers regardless of skin color or nationality. Next time the family or a group of friends wants chicken, we're going somewhere else.

I received good service until I got to the window. The drive thru cashier, Andrea, did not say hello, good bye, nothing. Gave me my change, still nothing. When she gave me my food I said "thank you", then she says "My pleasure". Really?? Good service?? That is a laugh. Definitely won't be back EVER!!!!! Wrong color I guess. Also don't talk so loud inside people can hear every word you idiots!!!

...The new In-n-Out. There chicken sandwiches are pretty good at this location. I like the Lemonade as well. I wasn't a big fan of it, when we had it at Cal Poly in our food court. But I think there sandwiches were a lot different. So 4 stars for fast food.

After standing in a line that was out the door for 20-25 minutes, I was really hungry. The woman at the cashier didn't rush me as I decided what to order, which I appreciated. I heard the classic sandwich isn't that spectacular and is rather plain, so I would add some condiments if you decide to order that. I enjoyed my chicken strips, but I couldn't finish the 4 strips that I got. They weren't exactly "fried," they were more spiced and breaded in my opinion. The chicken was fresh, but after eating 2 I was extremely full and felt like if I ate any more I would explode. The lemonade is also pretty good. More sweet than sour. It has some pulp in it which is what I really like! Doesn't taste like the Minute Maid you can get out of the soda fountain. And the waffle French fries were something different. However, I couldn't really eat all the fries because everything I ate was so heavy and oily. Fried/breaded chicken, French fries, lemonade... so much food for lunch! Not really worth waiting 25 minutes for. Good fast food, but not something I'm going to tell all my friends about. Next time I will use the drive-thru, which looked a lot faster. If you're planning on coming on a weekend, just know that they're not open on Sundays!

Finally!!! I love me some Chick-Fil-A! I have fond memories of eating at Chick-Fil-A growing up in Texas and visiting family during the summer. And now that I don't have to drive to Fairfield or Sacramento to get my fix, I am a happy man. :) The place is very clean and each time I have come here I have had great customer service. The chicken sandwhich and waffle fries are the best. And milkshakes or sweet tea, don't get me started! Legit!

Happy to go on opening day!! Food was fresh & it only took 8 minutes in the drivethru, I went at 7 pm. The line was long but it went fast. I was first introduced to this place in So-Cal. They've always been known to have good chicken breasts and authentic fried chicken. I also like their dipping sauces. This place is a much better option than other fast food places around. I'm glad they have one in this location because there's not any other place like it. Besides Bakesale Betty!!! but they have weird hours and its a mission

Food is a 3.5 - chicken and fries were good but nothing great. What made it a 4 was service - I've never been to a fast food restaurant that refills your drinks right at your table! It just speaks highly to the kind of customer experience they want you to get.

Ok I will definitely be going back here! For sure. The chicken nuggets and my chicken sandwich were out of this world delicious! We stood in line but were only there for like less than 10 minutes. Yeah the drive in was not happening, that line was to damn long. They actually bring your food to you! Now that was an awesome surprise. My friend and I are huge supporters of chic fila and huge supporters against same sex marriage because it shouldn't be legalized! Anyway despite the politcs crap the food was awesome and will definitely be returning for seconds and more! This place is here to stay, I wish they would branch out to the East Bay area i.e Hayward, San Leandro, Alameda area! I hate driving the 24 to get there but it's sooooo worth it.

Love Chic-fil-A! Eat there whenever I'm in the neighborhood. However last Friday I had a really poor customer service experience. Went through the drive-thru and the girl taking my order really was rushing me by saying "anything else" before I could say my next item. No "my pleasure" was said even once. When I got to the window I was given a milkshake and my order. As I drove away I noticed no sauces were given and my milkshake was the wrong size and flavor. I returned to the drive-thru line and told her the problem, when I got up to the window she handed me the correct milkshake. She then asked for the other milkshake back, which I hadn't drank out of yet, but had put my straw into (really were they going to throw it away?). I then asked for a new straw which was handed to me with no apology or anything. Wow, for a business that prides itself on customer service this was really disappointing. My rating is still high, because I do love their food (the classic chicken sandwich with dill pickles, the waffle fries, and fresh lemonade rule). I just hope a manager reads this and does some retraining of staff. Also in case it's your first time eating here, they are closed on Sundays!

I ordered nuggets. Juicy, tender, seasonings were just right, and delicious sauces for dipping. Waffle fries were a bit too soggy and cold or my taste, but that might be just me. Will come back to try more things on the menu. :)

Finally tried Chick-fil-a after living here for almost a year. Chicken is tasty but pricey. Waffle fries are good. Parking can be challenging because there is 24 Hour Fitness next door.

I like Chick-fil-A. My 4yr daughter loves it as well. I've had a really bad impression today when I visited there this evening for buying her a kid's meal. A young African American in the counter was very very unkind. I felt like I was a homeless in a line for free food. It was really bad experience. I never go the store again.

Ok, I don't go here for the chicken, since I'm vegetarian. I only come here for biscuits after a workout next door. We also got the waffle fries and milkshake before. I was kinda hoping this place wouldn't be very good, since I wasn't happy about the political opinions or influence the company is apparently well-known for. But after some thought, I realize that lots of other companies do certain things that I have trouble with, so I try to keep it in perspective. After all, I could avoid most grocery stores that sell things like cigarettes and such, so we have to pick our battles or we just end up being angry all the time. Anyway, this place is usually spotless, and the employees all seem friendly and pretty good about pleasing the customers. I will complain a bit about the parking spaces taken away from the gym, who desperately needs them. I have a pretty good idea that Chick Fill A doesn't fill up their other spots, and doesn't need them. I don't know what agreement they have, but there must be a way that customers of 24 Hour Fitness can use them when Chick Fil A is closed or not remotely crowded. Maybe they can make sense out of this. But they have good biscuits.

I have been to a couple of chick fil a locations but this one was the best. Excellent customer service and friendly staff. I love their chicken sandwiches and the waffle fries are great! It does not leave me feeling icky as fast food places usually do. The ingredients are consistently fresh and you can get as many (and as much!) different kinds of dipping sauces as you like. My favorite is their house chick fil a sauce. Parking is a pain as this place can get packed. Just park in the 24 hour fitness parking spots and you should be fine.

I come here for lunch at least once a week. The drive thru line is always long so I always eat inside. They really have excellent service. After ordering, they ask if I want any of their sauces, which i find unique. They even bring the food to your table and offer to get you a refill. I love great service! I like the spicy chicken sandwich. I don't care too much for their wrap though. The waffle fries are pretty good but I try not to eat too many. If I'm going to eat deep fried potatoes, I'd rather have McDonald's fries.

I know it's FAST FOOD, but I LOVE this place. I wish they would build as many Chick-fil-A as they have Mc Donalds.

I had never been to a Chick-fil-A, so I was happy to see we were getting one here in WC. I love a good chicken sandwich so decided to give them a try. Mistake. The chicken was dry and flavorless. I got a spicy chicken sandwich thinking it would be .... spicy. It was so not. Also it was just chicken and a bun. No sauce, no lettuce, no nothing. Thank goodness I had asked for some ranch for the fries, I ended up putting it on the sandwich since it was so dry. I guess I was expecting to much and was let down.

Con Went at 12 on a Wed. Loooong line. Waited about 10 min. Grilled chicken sandwich wasn't grilled. Just ok. Guess I should try the deep fried one. Husband had the deep fried but with provolone and tomato. Salty crispy coating. Servers yell out names to deliver orders. Prefer they use numbers on the table. Parking lot poorly designed so it's hard to back out as there are so many cars in the Drive Through line. Inside, the long line goes right through two rows of tables so it's hard to get to the bar for napkins, etc., and people are right over you. Most entrees are nearly $7. Not inexpensive fast food. Pro Sweet-hot mustard is good. Service friendly. Chocolate shake good. Not a big fan.

Ignore those other crazy reviewers, this is the one you want to see! If you haven't been to a Chick Fil A yet, here is the scoop: It is the In-N-Out of Chicken world. Those cows must have been the mascots against In-N-Out, but I have to say I love INO and CFA both the same. Simple menu, easy to figure things out, very friendly staff (That's why they ask you if you are ready to order over and over again, not to rush you, just to be helpful!) and the place has always been clean and orderly. Tip: Get the honey roasted bbq sauce... no way to go wrong with that stuff! Chicken sandwiches, fries, it's the best. Don't taint your meat with ketchup, mustard, or the usual... put this liquid gold on your sandwich!

The grilled Chicken Sandwich I had was better than fast food but left a lot to be desired compared to brewery/pub or restaurant food. New location was packed line moved pretty quick. Wanted to try it once, probablly won't go back. I'd rather not support a CEO/Corporation that was tagged in the media as being openly biased towards certain people who are just trying to live their lives lovingly and peacefully.

Drove past this place with the bf a night or two after it opened, without any idea what it was, how long it had been there or why the line was SO long. We were tempted to check it out off that reason alone, long lines must mean its good, right? But we resisted and opted for thai food [that was HORRIBLE, by the way] So we went back a few days ago. I wanted to go look around inside, so off we went. The have a big play-place for kiddos. Plenty of seating. Like ten cashiers all staring at you like a lion hunting prey. We were asked by EVERY cashier to come up to them to place our order after telling EVERY cashier we weren't ready yet. We finally decide and go up to whatever random worker, and she was bleh. Shouting to another employee across the store about getting something from her car, having a conversation with another customer while we're still tendering our transaction and doing the same with coworkers. She did apologize about five times, once after each time it happened. But whatever, I'm in a good mood today and won't count it as a negative star. I ordered a char grilled chicken and fruit salad. Not THE chicken salad, A chicken salad. With fruit. It was a pretty decent size for seven bucks, the lettuce was fresh enough [at least not wilted] and the fruit was surprisingly good. I got berry balsamic, which was also decently portioned. It was tasty, too. Couldn't even finish half of the entire thing. Bf got chicken strips. They were nice and juicy but the breading could be thicker. Not KFC-90%breading thick but you know. French fries were okay, he called them the [whatever cut of french fries they have] of In-N-Out. He enjoyed his meal and was full off of the whole thing which is rare. We also got the lemonade which was aaaaMAAAAziiiing. We want to try the breakfast. Someday...

This would be 5 stars if it had just a little better customer service. I've been to 2 other locations and this one lacks a little. Food is awesome. It's almost addicting it's so good. The nuggets and waffle fries are soooo delicious. If you've never eaten at a Chick-fil-a, you are definitely missing out.

Thank you Chick-fil-A for ruining the chicken sandwich experience for me... I will never be able to enjoy another chicken sandwich from any other reataurant! Now I must drive to walnut creek if a craving hits me! I usually dont like crisscut fries but these were so fresh tasting and crispy... cant go wrong with fresh! The service was surprisingly fast! I came in on a busy rainy lunch break and an employee actually walked me from my car to the door with an umbrella! What service! I'll have to try the lemonade on my next visit.

Ate here last week. I had eaten at one of their restaurants in Atlanta 25 years ago and loved it then. The breading on the chicken was not crisp, the chicken was thin and not flavorable. I was very unimpressed, Wendy's does a much better job these days, though I like the pickle on the sandwich at Chick-fil-a. Go to Wendy's --it is a much better sandwich with juicier more favorable chicken.

What a wonderful new fast food addition to WC! I had the spicy chicken sandwich a few days ago and was very satisfied. A huge piece of breaded spicy chicken breast with a few pickles was the perfect combination for me on a cold day. I look forward to returning!

'Stupid is as stupid does' greasy fingerprints everywhere on the entry doors shoulda been a clue. As delishious as anything found in an 80s food court. I'm gonna re open up that corn dog place with the chicks in big bright hats serving lemonade...oh and gotta have a drive-thru...classes the place up and makes for never having to move or think about what and how you eat. You fvckers are gonna make me rich. *Ok edit for another star because one star places may or maynot contain rodents... Even tho this place is the official offsite 24fitness commissary in the same parking lot. *Shite edit again cuz my kids said to get the #1 not the nuggets and soggy waffle things...but I dont eat bread so maybe next time I gots to go all 5easy pieces on them...Can ya do that for Me...hold the bun, hold the Chick fil A sauce, extra lettuce two tomatoes no onion light on the mayo... I'll probably get tossed.

Good fast food place if you're a fan of chicken. Lots of different choices, didn't really see all the sauce choices that everyone was talking about. Fries were just meh. But gave them an extra star for the great service. They will stand at the counter and bring your food to you. Very friendly when asking for extra 'blah blah blah'

Okay, so I've never eaten at a Chick-fil-A before so this was my first experience, not only here, but in general. We arrived on a Tuesday night at 6:45 or so and the line was extremely long. I have never believed in standing in lines at a new restaurant, but my parents were treating so I couldn't really complain. The line went somewhat quick, considering all the registers were open. For three of us, it came out to $27, which is a big reason why we probably wont be eating there very often. Pros: -The chicken is pretty good, for fast food. But that was expected. -They have a decent salad for fast food, as well. -I do like how they bring the food to you, but yelling out the name is not a good way to do it. Giving us numbers to put on the table would be a big improvement. - The employees were very nice Cons: - Employees do seem to hover a bit, which I get the customer serve aspect, but sometimes it gets irritating saying over and over that we are doing fine. - The price, we thought $27 was too much for three people with two salad's, a chicken sandwich, three drinks, and two fries. This isn't a nice restaurant, this is fast food. I don't want to be paying $7 for a fast food salad, when I can go down the street and get a good quality one with better dressing for $3-$5. - The fries were undercooked. - I was told the chicken sandwich was kind of small and bland, even with the sauce. It needed something more. - One employee was just standing around with a group of four or five younger girls surrounding him. I assume he was in some type of management position, because he was wearing a nicer shirt with his name tag and he was just standing around while all the other employees were still working. They were blocking some the aisle way by the registers and they were present there from the moment we got there until we left 45 minutes or so later. Now, I don't know their relationships, but it looked BEYOND unprofessional. Stepping aside and saying hello and thanks for coming is one thing, but standing around for a long period of time in the middle of the restaurant and talking loudly to a bunch of loud teenage girls and giving them free drinks when people are standing in line for 20 minutes right in front of them is not okay. My father thought it was creepy (he even noticed himself, I didn't have to point it out) and I was disappointed that someone would act that unprofessional when the store has only been opened a short amount of time. Someone needs to give that guy a reality check. Long story short, I wasn't as impressed as everyone else seems to be. I wont be returning often, I may not even be returning at all. I think I'll just stick with KFC for my random greasy chicken cravings.

What the hell? I thought all Chick-fil-A's were the same? Not so. The Fairfield location blows this one away. We ordered (nuggets for the kids, chicken sandwich for wifey and I, fries, etc.) and the food was given to us within 60 seconds. Awesome! Until I ate it in the parking lot and the spicy chicken sandwich had no crunch to it. Like it had been sitting under some kind of warmer. Oh, no wonder my food came out so fast. Me no likey. I'll have to feed my Chick-fil-A addiction in Fairfield like usual.

This place is overrated. Yeah, their chicken filet is pretty good, well seasoned and tender on the inside but everything else bun, condiments, isn't that great. It's a good chicken sandwich but I can see myself getting tired of it pretty fast. They don't have anything else besides chicken sandwiches.

best fast food there is. great customer service and with a southern hospitality. the play area is great and my kids love it. i wish that there was better air circulation inside the play area because kids get sick so easily and it always seems like there's stagnant air. employees are most always helpful and willing to refill a drink, extra bonus. free wi-fi, to.

All we need now is a Juans's Flying Burrito, a Backyard Burger, a Cracker Barrel and a Waffle House and I won't ever have to go back to the south again. Except for the hosptality. If China doesn't make it (ie. hospitality), it is hard to find on the west coast. If there was ever a place that consistently goes above and beyond in every way for less than $10 a head, it is this place. Whether I agree with their Closed on Sundays or not, I admire their conviction to do so. You guys make it look easy. Thanks for being an example of what to do and how to do it.

This is the first time I have been to Chick-fil-A and boy am I impressed. Normally I do not go to fast food places, but a friend said to try it out. The service is amazing, the place is very clean, even during the lunch rush. I was greeted with a smile and the food was fresh and great! Tony even asks if I wanted a refill before I left and thanked me for coming in. I am not easily impressed, and I am with this place. I recommend going here.

delicious! The only suggestion I can give is that they really fry up the waffle fries so that it's crispy. The cookies are fresh. There is even a play area for toddlers.

Chick-Fil-A+! Opening day protest, making my statement by tasting, hell with the sammiches (Cok Iyi) the employees are super hot and presumably straight :) change the name to Chicks-For-Lay!! Mmmm.. tasty!! Y'all remember the line from "Five Easy Pieces?"

I'm sure it's wheelchair accessible on the inside but since i went through the drive-thru, I can only say the outside is for sure at least...5 out of 5 for the outside accessibility. Being a lover of Chick fil-a food (not the politics). It's with heavy heart i write this review. I went through the drive-thru and given it's their first day open I will try them again after it dies down. The 2 folks that took my order outside were very pleasant but, the cashier at the window and the guy given me my order were nice enough, but were to caught up in "move them in move them out" rhythm. Weren't really giving me what i wanted. I had my own cup (a promotional Chick Fil A Cup for refills, to help the environment) and had ask for unsweetened and if they could put a little bit of sweet in it.. and the little girl said "but we just used our cup already". Basically tell me no they couldn't accommodate me. Then I had to ask for condiments which i got none of. Soo, I drove off and started to eat my frys cuz I had a long drive home and they were warm.. then i bit one then another and it was raw...or i should say not fully cooked...yuk...My tea had more ice then tea which really was sad....finally i got home and was hesitated on trying the sandwich but I did and glad I did.. it was still warm and actually as good as ever.... Sooo, what I would like, is for them to think how they would want to get their food thru a drive-thru and maybe they will start serving it better...

Hit this place yesterday and was crazy busy. But the staff did a great job moving the line and getting orders out. Although this qualifies as fast food, in my mind it is a cut above most other like places. The food is good, prices reasonable and the menu is pretty simple. I know a lot of people were hating on Chick-fil-A last year, but if you don't like them, don't eat there. I happen to like this company and the idea of closing on Sundays might be inconvenient to some, but you have to respect the decision in this "money above all" world we live in. Nice job Chick-fil-A.

  • Quandra R.

Let me start off with the positive: the food is really good. I was so excited when they opened a Chick fila in the Bay Area, where I grew up we had a Chick fila in every mall and I've grown to expect a certain level of quality and usually they deliver. Now for the big fat negative.... Apparently they have a greeter/ host who's job it is to refill drinks, clear tables, greet customers and help with babies. The man passed our table at least 8 times that I counted, filling every cup in the place and even though he made eye contact with my husband he never opened his mouth let alone offer to refill our drink. Did I mention that my husband and I drove all the way from Hayward and that we're black? In fact we were the only black patrons at the time and I'm not pulling the race card, I'm just telling you what we experienced. Needless to say we will NEVER EVER patronize with them again and we're telling everybody we know about our experience.

Foods ok, they have a new playground that my daughter likes. The place is crowded since its new. I think that will wear off once everyone visits once. The order takers at the counter keep making mistakes. 3 so far in ear shot.

This place is awesome! After hearing the hype decided to give it a shot. The people are so nice who work here! Never received such polite service at a restaurant before. Molly and Bethany were amazing and Alec who was bussing tables was awesome. The good was delicious! Much better than anything like KFC or McDonalds can make. The shakes are incredible. Sorry In-N-Out, your shakes just don't cut it any more.

Just a quick note chick fil a uses PEANUT OIL in all breaded chicken sandwiches, chicken fillets, and chicken nuggets. Use of the peanut oil is not posted in the store. You must read the nutritional information guide to get this info. Very dangerous if you have this allergy. We won't be going back. Rather irresponsible of this chain to not advise consumer as to use of PEANUT OIL. Store manager answered phone after about 3 minutes and was rather non chalant about our near emergency room visit after visiting his restaurant.

I love this place and am so happy it has finally opened in the bay area. I first tried Chick fil A in GA and then again when I moved to SoCal. I have to say so far everything has been consistently good at each location. For breakfast I order the chicken biscuit meal. I love the hash brown bites compared to any other fast food place. I also would recommend jam in your chicken biscuit it makes it even yummier. For lunch or dinner I order a regular chicken sandwich or spicy chicken sandwich and I would recommend trying all the different sauces and finding one you love. I like all of them and get something different each time. The chicken has always been moist never dry and the biscuits in the morning are moist as well not dry like other places. I don't know about the locations in CA but the locations in GA have the yummy peach milk shake. I would assume its going to taste the same in CA if they even have it but I know GA is the peach state. The Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake is also a good one.

Well put me down for not understanding what the attraction to this place is. But like every new place that opens up in Walnut Creek, people are going to ooze it simply because it is new. Give me El Pollo Loco over this place any day, or even Wendy's chicken sandwich for that matter. We had these Chick-fil-A's where I lived on the east coast and I had to take a picture of the line of cars waiting at the drive through and send it to my friends back there for them to actually believe someone would wait for more than two seconds for Chick-fil-A food.

I've been hearing about this place for a while, not sure what all the fuss and long lines are about. It's been years since I ate at KFC, so I can't compare the two, but I do think the sides are better, if not the chicken. The first time I had the basic sandwich and a salad, both were pretty good and the service was surprisingly quick. I went back on Sunday, but they were closed, in the time it took me to walk across their parking lot, at least ten cars pulled in. (Note to management, the Sabbath is actually supposed to be observed from sundown Friday evening to sundown Saturday). Last night, the place was still very busy, but the service was quick, albeit confusing. The person who took my order couldn't figure out the correct change to give me, had me wait at the register for my coleslaw for a minute or so, then I had to stand by the condiments for my fries and chicken. When I got home, I discovered they'd given me nuggets instead of the strips I ordered, without sauce. Oh well, I'm grateful to have 1st World problems like this. I'll try Chick-Fil-A again in a couple of weeks and let you know how the strips with dipping sauce are.

Chicfila...where have you been all my life!? Yes I know you're just a chicken sandwich but damn you're fricken delicious! My delux with honey mustard was sooooo good! Perfectly seasoned, crispy and moist. I'll take you over that over rated bake sale betty any day!

I am so happy that we finally have a Chick-Fil-A out here in in the Bay. The place gets a little busy, so if you can avoid the lunch rush do so. I highly recommend the chicken nugget meal which you can order either 8 or 12 pieces with waffle fries and a drink. Definitely top that high calorie meal with their fresh squeezed lemonade, they have sugar free at this location. People here fast and really friendly! If you can find parking and come at non busy times, you will not regret it!

Pricing: Good. Comparable to other fast food joints, but not as big portions. Quality: Excellent. Chicken is tender and not dry. Turnaround: Excellent. Getting the food before I even sat down. Service: Excellent. Servers serve and bus the tables. The pricing is standard fast food pricing maybe leaning towards the higher end like Carl's Jr., but the burgers and portions feel smaller than if I had gone to Carl's Jr. However, the chicken here was done perfectly. At most fast food joints, the fried chicken is a dry breaded patty of mystery chicken "meat," but the chicken here was not only real, but was tender. The grilled option is also nice and tender too and they have cheese options, which just makes this place feel a little better than a standard fast food place. The waffle fries are very soft and non-crispy unfortunately, but I wonder if they would double fry the fries if asked. I came during the lunch rush so I had to wait in line, but once I paid and sat down, a server was right behind with my food. That is right, a server brought our food to us and not only that, the server came back with more napkins and utensils for all of us. One of my coworkers wanted more sauce and a server brought a bunch back to our table too. I even saw one server help a family take the trays and clean up the table when they left. What kind of fast food place has service too?

Wow, I can't believe we finally have one close. As always, a great place to dine for fast food. Great service, the chicken is amazing. "Oops I just dropped something, ah it's ok, it's their pleasure to pick it up. hahaha" It cracks me up how cliche this place is, WASP central. However, i'm so thrilled it's here. My only complaint, and the only reason they don't get 4-stars is because they still use Styrofoam which I feel there is no excuse for this.

The service here is good. Not a fried chicken type of person, but chick fil a is delish.

First time trying ChickFilA - Good- Cobb salad, not bad for a fast food salad. Not so good - very slow line for a fast food joint. - and $9 for a fast food salad? is that normal? Still need to try their chicken sandwich at some point.

I work really close by and this was the fast thing to get on a time budget. Went through drive through and nothing but attitude from the start. Not welcoming at all! I got to the window and the little girl handed me my drink, ran my debit CC, handed my bag and said thank you. I caught her right before she shut the window to ask for ketchup. As soon as I asked she walked off really fast then came back with the packets. Then, I asked her for ranch and that's when she got irritated that I am actually making her work...at work. She then said in a very rude way before walking off to get the ranch, "Is there anything else you want other than the ranch?". Right before I drove off, I thanked her for the attitude. She seemed like she just didn't care. Why the second star? The food is expensive for the amount you get. The sandwiches are too small and the fries are soggy. The taste is really good, but not filling at all.

Excellent chicken in the spicy sandwich. Very nice. Waffle fries nothing to get excited about. Wife says that it was the best salad she'd ever had at a fast food place, with strawberries and blueberries and chicken and apple and blue cheese - but the packet of dressing was 260 calories if she'd used the whole thing. Watch that if you're getting a salad to be lo-cal. Nice service and very clean considering it was the peak of lunchtime and it was packed.

Sigh. I hate the fact that I'm reviewing a fast food chain but I HAD to try it since everyone talks about how good Chick-fil-a is and I've never ever had it. And I'm not sure that I really want to admit this, but it was pretty darn good..... It could be the fact that I rolled in and was about to chew my arm off because I was so hungry, but I scarfed that puppy down and contemplated waiting in the drive thru line again for another one. And that line was comparable to a drive thru line at In-n-Out, so hopefully that puts it in perspective. Long, but moved along relatively quickly. Oh, I got the Spicy deluxe sandwich. I probably could have done without the cheese, but I wanted the lettuce and tomato. And in case you couldn't tell, I liked it.

Chick-fil-a oh Chick-fil-a how can I count the ways you made a bad impression on me.... 1) forgetting my order can be the first. I understand that when its busy you will need to wait but forgetting an order. Long story short.. I left cause I had to go back to work. Lunch time over.

What's the worst/hardest part of being on a diet? It's not having a spicy chicken sandwich or a spicy chicken biscuit!! I can honestly say that I miss Chik-fil-A. The food is always delicious, dining area is clean and the customer service is top notch! Even though there are some healthy options, I'll eventually cheat and be back eating the spicy chicken I crave!

I've been jonesin' for delicious fried chicken sandwich for a while. I've tried all the go-to spots but have yet to be satisfied. I finally made it to WC on a Saturday to try Chick-fil-A. I tried coming before but they're closed on Sundays. I respect religion and all that but I just want a sandwich on my day off. There's nothing more righteous. So right off the bat this place is popular. A good sign. As I walk in, the counter line is crowded and unorganized. The menu seems simple with the FCS (Fried Chicken Sandwich) as the main item. I got one deluxe with the waffle fries and an Arnold Palmer. The ketchup packets are cool. When I get my food, I tear into it and quickly realize there's not much to it. It wasn't super tasty, it was just regular tasty. The chicken batter had a hint of sweetness. I wanted more salty, like KFC. I was let down from all the hype. Same effect when I tried Krispy Kreme. More news stories than flavors. The AP was delicious as was the dessert ice cream. The place has a kiddie playground and is kept clean. Overall it was OK but I wasn't impressed. Too bad. Parking can be tough in their lot.

They're open! I'm delighted that this franchise is open in Walnut Creek - saves us having to drive to Fairfield to get our "fix". The chicken is absolutely THE BEST. Not even comparable to KFC. Fresh, crisp and never a beak. :-) Waffle fries are always perfect. If this is fast food I'm all for it.

Was at the Professional Paint Center (Benjamin Moore, best paint in the world me thinks) nearly next door, and noticed this new (to me) place, and had to go in. Excellent chicken sandwich, much better than at the hamburger fast food places. I eat chicken a lot, and this was a large properly cooked chicken breast, served with tomato, lettuce and cheese (?). Anyway, it was very good. Then they had these waffle fries, great! The service is amazing. They should train the people at Disneyland and my gym. It's like a different world to be treated so graciously. (So that's what good manners are. One can easily forget in this day and age.)

Bumping the review to 3 stars. I've been back twice since the last time I reviewed this place but we've only ate inside the restaurant. Service was fast and food was good. Hopefully, drive through orders are better.

Fastly, friendliest service I've ever experienced in a fast food drive thru window in all of California. Encore, encore.

Belinda Carlisle was right, Heaven IS a place on earth. This may be my favorite food. Ever. I get the Chicken Strips. Make sure you ask for the somewhat unknown Texas Pete's sauce!

I think that this is one of the best fast food chains. I also love their business ethics and hope they don't disappoint me. I have to put a limit at the amount of chicken nuggets I get before arriving.. :-) or I will over do it... I think their fries are not good.. I order fruit always. Lunch time is really busy.. Especially the drive through...

  • Monica H.

Bummer. I really wanted to like Chik-Fil-A. It's true their chicken is tasty and authentically chicken meat, as opposed to the McMeat we get from other fast food restaurants. I tried their nuggets and was considerably disappointed at the small portion-size, though. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth :/ I'm on a budget, so getting more bang for my buck is essential. As everyone has said, the service is impeccable :] You get free refills. I think next time, I am going to try a traditional burger with fries and the milkshake. Bonus: There's a 24 Hour Fitness in the same lot so you can confess and repent of your caloric transgressions.

What I Ate - chicken strips - waffle fries - lemonade Would I Go Again? I would grade Chick-fil-A in the premier fast-food category. In terms of other fast-food chains, Chick-fil-A has the best chicken strips and fries, by far. The chicken is so tender and juicy, and the waffle fries taste so fresh compared to other fast-food chains. Add in all of Chick-fil-A's fantastic dipping sauces, and you've got yourself one delicious meal at your finger tips. With all that said, the prices are above average (as fast-food chains go), but the quality of food and THE friendly, competent service more than make the few extra bucks completely worth it. EAT MOR CHIKIN!!!

Day number 6: I have eaten at Chick-Fil-A in 5 previous states, Georgia, SC, NC, Virginia and Tenn. This place is a little stressed, I'll given it another month for them to master it, then it will be "on par" with what chick-fil-a should be. My chicken was a touch cold, bun a little soggy, fries a little cold/undercooked, lemonade perfect. Yet even cold/soggy/cold, it was still pretty good, can't wait until the place gets over the mad rush jitters of a new restaurant! No other restaurant serves a whole pounded fried chicken breast on a bun. It's that simple. REAL CHICKEN. Those vegan/veggie folks, please don't whine about no veggie options, it's nothing personal, it's just that it's a...well..it's a chicken place...they serve chicken, that's about it.

I will admit - this was my first ever visit to a Chick fil A....wanted to see what all the fuss was. I am not a big fast food eater, so keep that in mind when reading this review. This location was spotlessly clean and the staff could not have been more polite, efficient or helpful. Restrooms were also spotless. I had one of the chicken wraps - the spicy one. It was dry and tasteless, as were the waffle fries. I am a french fry freak, and I only ate like 3 before giving up. It's probably better than I am making it out to be - like I say, fast food is not my thing, so it has to be like an In and Out or a Smashburger if I am going to rave about it.

Why do people complain about no vegetarian options? Really? Wrong place to go, that is like going to McDonald's expecting gourmet quality and service or something. I also get it-- Corporate donated money to anti-gay marriage, I don't agree with that, many people don't agree with that, but why let politics get in the way of my meal? They don't do anything illegal by doing this, and the owner of the company has every single right as an American to chose who they support politically, and he or she can have it reflect bad on their company if they want, that is the way it works. Enough of that though. The service was amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly, almost too friendly, not overly friendly, but definitely got the very friendly vibe off everyone. It's nice though, a lot better than them being short with me like most restaurants of this type. I got exactly what I ordered, and was in and out in about 5 minutes, including the line. Now the chicken. I LOVE CHICKEN. I could eat chicken for breakfast everyday, even though I love bacon and eggs a lot, I love chicken a lot too. Spicy chickens are my weakness, I love them. Their spicy chicken is good, nothing too too amazing, at least the one with provolone. I didn't think the provolone tasted too good with this sandwich, I think the pepperjack may be better. The quality of the chicken was very high, very white meat inside and perfectly breaded and fried. It wasn't too spicy while eating it, sadly, however once it was all down the gullet, I got the aftertaste of spice and it was strong. It was good though, I like it. I'll be back, this place is very clean, nice, fast and tasty.

5 stars and we waited over 30 minutes in the drive thru line for food. 'nuff said. Then again, we did go at dinner time. Its best chicken sandwich ever. No comparisons. Totally worth the wait. Not enough positive things to say about the food.

This is for the uninitiated to the store. Great hunk of chicken, lightly breaded and fried, seasoned perfectly. First call is the original sandwich, waffle fries, and lemonade. Second call is nuggets with name brand sauce, waffle fries, and sweet tea. Make the trip, but bypass traditional lunch and dinner hours unless you like long lines. Great service. Great chicken. This fast food chicken done right; the right way.

I'm so happy Chick-fil-A has finally opened in Walnut Creek. The staff have been tremendously courteous and helpful during these first few hectic days. Folks were out in the parking lot, taking orders car-side from the long line at the drive thru and making sure that there was no congestion in the parking lot. And the food. Oh yum. Who knew that a fried chicken breast could be so light and juicy? Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe, thy name is deliciousness.

So ok it is good, not great. Limited menu, long lines, over priced. The chicken was the best part for sure, but no regular fries? Kids liked the play area as well. Just ok.

Oh how I heart you Chick-fil-a. Growing up in the Philadelphia area these guys are everywhere. When I moved to CA and discovered the only one was in Fairfield my heart (and empty stomach) sank. I will admit I made the drive from Walnut Creek to Fairfield every few months or so when I had an uncontrollable craving because it's that good (seriously). This place is crazy crowded and will continue to be but the employees work really hard to move the lines and be fast and be efficient. FYI They don't call a large drink 'Value Size' anymore so don't confuse them like I did. Also the manager was chatting up the guests and helping to move everything along (and he looks just like Jason Bateman with glasses). Get the Polynesian Sauce and dip your fries in it. You can thank me later. :)

I love it when the food that you get actually looks like the picture on the advertisement! Although it always look bigger on TV. Lol. I've tried their tortilla chicken soup, the chicken nuggets, the regular chicken sandwich and their spicy one, along with the milkshake and waffle fries, of course!! I Love the waffle fries, definitely. Otherwise their sandwich is great. For all you who thinks it's dry, well you're too lazy to walk to the sauce bar and they have more flavors behind the counter!! Get your @$$ up and pick whatever you want on your sandwich. Not everyone wants condiments on their sandwich, should there be a diagram on "How to eat your sandwich properly??" Who doesn't like their Heinz ketchup packets ?? It should be a universal mandated law that all restaurants serve packets like that ! Service is amazing here! Clean place, of course, since it's new. Large kids playground, they could be occupied for a long time. Very kid friendly facility. They bring your food to you, they bus the table and clean for you. What else do you want from a fast food restaurant where you don't even have to get up from your seat? The portion of sandwich is smaller than average, but I guess you get what you pay for. The price is perfectly fair, IMO. The milkshake isn't as good as other places, but it'll do for anyone craving. Definitely see myself coming back often. (Except on Sundays, of course)

Have to say this location is outstanding I have only been through the driv-thru next time I go I may sit inside and eat. What can you say you get service from nice folks the chicken is consistently good as are the waffle fries I drive from San Pablo to go here at least once every other week excellent service and good food

I saw Chick-fil-A for the first time when I went to Texas for the 1st time. I didn't get the chance to try it there. The first time I had it was in Temecula, CA and I loved it. I am so glad there a couple now in the bay, especially this one in WC which is the closest to me. They need to make more because this one is really really busy. I remember the first few days the line was literally out the door. However it is worth it because it tastes that good PROS: Great service, excellent spicy chicken sandwich, nice selection of sauces, the most I have seen in in a fast food restaurant. I like the dippable and tearable ketchup packets. Clean restaurant interior. Unique menu, catering, Waffle fries, breakfast also! awesome salads, trays, kids meals , fruit cups, wraps. Lots of options, healthy CONS: Drive-thru gets backed up during peak time, CLOSED ON SUNDAYS Because of the Religious founder/ CEO =( Hence the docked star. I just feel that Sunday is a vital day for people/family to eat out with everyone working the whole week...

I visited Chick-Fil-A on a Wednesday night. I was worried it would be crowded based on the reviews, but there were only two cars in front of us at the drive thru. I ordered the spicy deluxe meal with the waffle fries. My fiancé ordered the same as well as chicken nuggets with the special chick-fil-a sauce, buffalo sauce, and barbecue sauce. My chicken sandwich was ok, but I wouldn't consider chick-fil-a the chicken version of In N Out. I crave in n out, but I wouldn't crave the food I had here. The spicy chicken wasn't spicy enough and needed Frank's Red Hot sauce or something. The waffle fries were ok, but alternative sides were boring. My fiancé enjoyed the sweet tea and wants to come back for breakfast. I will only be back if I'm in the neighborhood and looking for something fast. I would rather go to McD's or In n Out.

Delicious spicy chicken sandwich can be ordered extra crispy. A little too salty and breading could be thicker but nevertheless, I couldn't put the sandwich down once I bit into it - each mouthful is so addictive. The chicken nuggets are good as well but kinda small and low in breading. The employees here are really nice and do much more than at a typical fast food biz.

It's like the In N Out of chicken. I don't care if Chick-fil-A hates gay people. Even if they hated straight white guys, I'd still eat there. They make a pretty damn tasty spicy chicken sandwich. I wish they were open on Sundays for us Chick-fil-Atheists.
